Hello,
I want to start a thread for my current project.
It isn't something that I would have actually picked myself but it was somewhat foisted upon me and I accepted it.
I have installed a 3.0L turbo engine into a XC90 that was normally aspirated. To do this, I had to defeat the immobilizer by going around it and installing a standalone EFI. I wanted to keep the factory ECM but that was just not possible at this time.
To date, the car cranks and idles. I have to install my RealDash cluster and configure it next. Then, I can put the wheels back on and finish repairing the accident damage that precipitated the possibility to do this swap in the first place.

HP Academy has been VERY helpful in getting me to this point. I had installed programmable EFI in the past but none as sophisticated as the EcuMasters EMU PRO.
I drove it today. Just down the block and back. It's another tremendous milestone.

More progress on the project. I got the Digital Dash working. I am getting a lot of info on the screen but need to start working on the hard part which will be getting CAN data from the vehicle like road speed, fuel gauge info, blinker activation, etc.
