Hi Guys

Wouldn't it be better to remove the welch plugs and do all the deburring and gallery cleaning before sending the block off to the machinist?

If this was done, then any swarf created in the process will get flushed out when the machinist cleans the block.

Small metal particles would oxidise really quickly because of the increased surface area. Besides, it would be nice to get the block back clean and then only start adding parts to it.

What are your thoughts on it?
