my colt evo 4g63 engine is doing 9.1 in 1/4 mile @264km @ 3 bar of boost turbo is pt6870 BB , RPM 9500 , COMPRESSION RATIO 11.5 , PURE ETHANOL . 870WHP MAINLINE DYNO

PLANE IS TO GO 8.5 SEC 1/4 MILE SO IM THINKING FOR A NEW BUILD WITH 12.5 COMPRESSION AND A PT7685 TURBO SO YOU THINK THIS NEW BUILD CAN DO IT , SAME BOOST 3 BAR .

AND ANY RECOMMENDATION FOR CLEARANCES FOR SUCH A BUILD

The more boost you want to apply the lower CR should be. I would not recommend to raise CR any higher than 11.5.

What kind of clearance are you talking about?

what turbo size do you recommend for this 4g63 11.5 compression 292 hks cams rpm 9600 for a drag race car . now its doing 9.1 1/4 mile on pt6870 3.2 bar of boost . pure ethanol
