Hey everyone!

Thought to help organize my own thoughts, I really should start my own build log.

This project started about ~2 years ago, when my 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i's EJ253 dropped a valve seal as well as seized a camshaft related to an out of control rear main seal leak. I bought the car with the intentions of swapping an EZ30 since I essentially wanted to build my own "3.0 Spec. B" wagon. Long story short, I didn't start here and I ended up with a failed wiring loom, there's some sort of short I'm just not going to fix since I'd like to go through and build a new harness from scratch. Up until recently, when I quit, I was apprenticing as an auto tech, now I have plenty of time to get this right. The engine is already in and now I'm redoing my wiring work with what I've learnt here. My goal with the car is to have a unique daily driver that I can use to apply my latest learning experiments to.

Here's the basics:

2008 Legacy 2.5i

JDM EZ30D Phase 2

Haltech Elite 2500, IO expansion module A, Dual Channel wide band O2, and in the near future a Flex Fuel Sensor

Big inspirations for this build is obviously Al from the skid factory and AM auto's work on these cars, brandonspecb's build and a few others who've made big power builds with this odd engine.
