Mk1 fiesta and 93 impreza rallycross project cars

I am a new VIP member from northern California, USA. I am new to the world of tuning, as well as rallycross. Eventually I would like to make my way into stage rally, but ill get to that after some more rallycross. Onto the racecars..

Mk1 Fiesta.

So there isn't a lot of information about the U.S versions of these cars. I got this one in a trade, and haven't done much work to it, but I have plans.

It is a 1.6l carbureted 4 spd Fwd monster. It has a bolt in cage and with a stripped interior. I need to upgrade the seats and throw some harnesses in it currently.

This car will be my primary rallycross car until I get the impreza figured out.

1993 subaru impreza L

This car started off as one of my first cars and was originally fwd, i have since converted the car to awd with another stock impreza.

it is a 5 speed, and was a 1.8l, however this engine died at 2xx,xxx miles and i'm now stuck with some options. And as always money is the determining factor. I am pretty sure it will be getting an na 2.2 out of a legacy for the time being to get it back in the dirt. then i think ill plan a cage and a turbo swap.

I don't think that this impreza is going to be a good one to mess with tuning unfortunately. I might have to end up looking for a cheaper newer beater car as a better option. (open to opinions)
