How do I break in diesel engine? I have completed the engine building fundamentals, but there was break in for petrol engine, but I am soon abou to break in diesel one, so what can I expect, what should I do different?
Thank you a lot for your answer!

The first few minutes of engine run time are critical for any new engine. My personal (enthusiast not professional) recommendation would be as follows
Use proper break in oil for the application (Driven DBR is a well recognized break in oil, and what I use).
Insure the engine is primed with oil prior to first start, and ideally building good oil pressure while cranking.
Don't let the engine idle, initial runin should be 20-30 min at a increased high idle, 1200-1500 rpm to promo proper lubrication.
If possible, take vehicle on test drive following initial run time, moderately loading the engine to create higher cylinder pressure, to force the ring set into the cylinders, for proper ring seat.
Change oil- continue break in oil up to 3-400 miles.
Important to heat cycle the engine a few times and then check all your lash point, valves etc.
I have found this to be effective, and hope it helps a bit.
