Hi, I have a race car with a floor mounted pedal box that used to operate a cable throttle and is being swapped to DBW. I was thinking of using 2 linear travel sensors as a pedal position sensor. My thinking behind this is i can use the same sensor for clutch position and then only need one spare to cover the pedals, or in an emergency the 3 sensors could be swapped around to get it running if there was a failure. Calibration shouldn't be an issue, I've just never seen it done and was wondering if there's some sort of issue doing things this way, maybe around safety or something. Thanks.
