Just got VF tuners for my Lexus RCF. There's a huge lack of information out there on using it and its not very intuitive. Seems like everyone tuning with it has to figure it out from scratch with trial and error. I'm about to make a switch to E85. Trying to understand which settings are best to change in order to get my fueling for start, running, and WOT. Next will be ignition timing after that. There's a global fuel map that adds fuel everywhere based on throttle angle. I was going to try that until I found a table called "load based injection multiplier". Multiples fuel by engine load. This one seems to be a better option. There is another option called "injector constant". Seems to be a setting that tells the computer injector size or expected flow rate. From my understanding, watching the modules from HP academy, it seems this would be the best place to start to compensate for the additional fuel required. Then don't even get me started with cranking maps. There's about 10 different ones. Voltage min, 4 different fuel cranking pulse maps, 3 fuel cranking pulse adder maps, and 2 cranking pulse modifier IAT maps. The IAT maps seem to be a good place to start since its based on intake temp.
