As I understand:
Fuel pressure keeps the injector closed. Increasing fuel pressure requires more effort to open the injector - current.
Is the increasing fuel pressure the supply to the injector pressure or the differential pressure in a highly boosted application?
Increasing the fuel pressure by turning up the pressure on a regulator at the end of the fuel system increases the differential pressure.
