Hello. I wrote before about my problem with Maxxecu street where injectors won’t open all the time when cranking the car. I have a digital hall sensor and have checked the trigger ocilloscope, but can’t see anything wrong… I only using the crank sensor, no cam sensor. I have tried different settings for the fuel, like sequential 720 without sync and sequential 360, but its still the same. Sometimes the injectors open and sometimes don’t, mostly don’t. I have some pictures of the trigger oscilloscope and the fuel settings. Someone has a good idea what it could be?

Have you followed the steps on this page:

https://www.maxxecu.com/webhelp/solutions_and_faq-trigger_problems.html

Does the "In Sync" parameter become 1 and stay 1 while cranking?

I think the MaxxECU wants to run sequential, and thus requires a home signal. It has many different ways to generate this (MAP signal on ITBs, single pulse on a distributor or cam, etc).

Otherwise I think your only hope is to use a 360 degree mode (ie, fake being a 2-stroke), or use the Advanced Trigger Option for Unsynchronized Start set for "Enabled, Starts in Wasted Spark, and keeps running if CAM is missing".

Note that they warn this is only a "limp home" mode, and could damage the engine if used under load. So I think your best energies would be spent creating a home signal.

Yes I have read this on the Maxxecu site. I have also tried the 360 degree mode. When cranking I see the 1 sync while cranking too. I think I Will try to change the digital hall sensor to a brand new one because I see some marks on it. But I haven’t got anyone yet. But I also think the signal is good, so I can’t understand that this will help, but I belive I have checked evrything.

What is the battery voltage when cranking? What is the engine speed while cranking? Is it steady?

You have posted many screenshots of the Trigger Oscilloscope, but what does the Trigger Logger look like? That should indicate if it is detecting the missing tooth correctly. I would do that before just changing the sensor.

Have you set the Ignition Mode to Wasted Spark?

https://www.maxxecu.com/webhelp/settings-ignition-ignition_settings.html

Hey. I will check everything like you said and come back to you again soon.

Regards Fredrik

Hey again. Today I took a new check. I took some picture’s of the trigger logger. I took picture when I crank the car and you could see the battery voltage, brand new battery. I checked that the ignition stood on the wasted spark also. But still, only sometimes the injectors is sending fuel…

Either log a few sessions of cranking (not in the trigger logger or onboard logger, the PC datalogger) or just post the map. Maxx's bake their maps into their logs.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
