I use BitEdit and recently tuned my Mazda 2 SkyActiv-G. The tuner that provided my Original file (File I read from the car was already tuned by other tuner) said that BitEdit does not have the Power Limiter table defined in the maps so he sent a file with the table set to unlimited.
Based on the differences, I recreated the table on TunerPro and found this (Attached Screenshot)
It really is set to 85kw max and the file he sent was set to 9999 on the whole table.
Is it safe to modify this? And if I fail to modify this table or similar tables on other cars (Due to missing maps on BitEdit), will the tune really only have limited effects on performance? Or is this an unnecessary table that can be ignored or should be ignored?
