Im having excess crankcase pressure on my 4.0 V6
Is it a good idea to run two catch cans, one for each bank AND tap holes on both sides of the top part on the oil pan to run hoses to those catch cans. That way the crankcase pressure escapes directly from the crankcase and the valve covers
My first concern would be what's causing the "excess crankcase pressure", it may be within rreasonable limits, or it could be due to excess ring leakage. A compression check or, better, cylinder leakage will give you more info' on that.
Venting directly from the crankcase is better than from the heads, if practical, as if from the headsthe blowby is directly opposing the oil drainage from the heads and, in extreme cases, this can result in the oil filling the heads and starving the bottom end.
