Hello gang,
I was wondering if anyone has experience swapping a VK56DE/VE into a 08 350z chassis with the nexus R3?I’m a fan of the VQ35HR in my Z now and am curious to buy a plug and play nexus kit. However ecutek/uprev is more than capable of what I need, and I wouldn’t want to spend the coin on a standalone if I would have to replace it again for (what I have decided is) an inevitable VK swap in the future.
I guess I’m more looking for a consensus on if the nexus could be reprogrammed to manage the VK56 and still be compatible with the rest of the car, since it would need a new engine harness for more ignition & fuel inputs, along with other issues like the lack of VVT on the DE V8s. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
