Starting a new project, my first harness from scratch (almost, starting from Haltech 2500 universal harness).

I want to upgrade and add gear selector sensor. Using Borg Warner T5 transmission and I want the ECU to know in which gear the car is (for boost by gear). any idea how to add it?

Hello Nadav,

You don't need one. If you have a vehicle speed input, you can have the ECU work it out by comparing engine RPM to vehicle speed. All you need to do is put in the road speed per 1000RPM in each gear ratio. This is done in the Transmission drop down menu of the NSP software.

thanks
