Hello there, after wiring in the Link Kurofune ECU into my 2JZGTE VVTI engine, I notice there is a buzzing noise originating from the DBW motor. This is evident only when the Link is plugged into the system through the HKS F-con patch harness. When the patch harness and the Link are removed and the OEM ecu is connected, this does not arise. Can some please help?

Also, my Link ecu is not wired to control the DBW. The only connection it has to that area is a splice to the TPS sensor to read the voltage.

Please see the following link for a video recording of this issue. I have also attached my Cal file and a wiring documentation if anyone cares to look into them. Any help would be much appreciated!

Is the DBW still powered when the Link is connected? That sounds like the motor is being powered and what you are hearing is the frequency that the motor is being driven at. The OEM ECU may drive it at a higher rate that cannot be heard.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
