I Looked over all the documentation I can find to see if the infinity 6 ecu has an internal can bus termination and can't find any documentation. Anyone know off hand if it is internally terminated?

Pete

I just checked our unit for you and yes, the CAN buses are internally terminated with 120 ohm resistors. I agree that this doesn't seem obvious in the documentation. I hope that helps you.

Very much! So this just means that the opposite end will be terminated with one 100ohlm resistor. The infinity 6 will be the other end of the bus.

If you haven't already wired the loom, put 120ohm resistors in at the other end of the bus. If the loom is already wired, then if you have a long loom, noise and/or high bus usage, then you will start getting errors with mismatched impedance at each end.
