Hello Tuners,

I want to know how far I can push mainly TFSI engines before having to change or worry about the failure of original parts such as MAF sensors.

I plan to purchase KESS and K-TAG Master units with ECM Titanium software to create my own files and provide a service to my customers. I'll mainly be working on 3,5,7 series BMW's 2015 onwards and on GOLF GTI and GOLF R.

Anyone here have experience in chip-tuning on German cars and is willing to share their knowledge on what I should look out for when chip tuning.

Kind Regards,

Ilyas

For BMW Consider first that you don't have a whole lot of other options. Standalones that can run direct injection are expensive and complicated to tune. There are no standalones that can control Valvetronic. So that leaves you with reflash/chip tuning such as Cobb for BMW or piggyback/intercept such as a JB4.
