Hello everyone. I'm looking to start creating a base map for my SR20DET s14 on my Haltech 1500. I have finished my course, but still feel a little uncertain about fully committing to tuning it solo. If any tuners on here are very familiar with the SR platform and would be interested in helping out, paid of course, please let me know in this thread.

Here are the basic internals of the motor:

Machined sleeves .5mm over, BC rods + arp bolts, CP pistons (8.5-1 comp / 86.5mm)

ACL Main and rod bearings, ARP main studs, SPEC billet flywheel, ATI damper, Tomei poncams,

Tomei cam gear, Tomei 7960 Turbo.

Missing some other things but for the most part that is it. Not looking for any crazy power number just something fun and very safe.

Parker,

Hopefully you'll put your new knowledge to work and get it running yourself. It's a great feeling.

Then if nobody takes you up on your offer and you get stuck on a particular item during your tuning process, please let us know. We are here to help!

I'm still working on fine tuning my skills and have never had the opportunity to work with a Haltec, but I'd be happy to download the software and be another set of eyes to see if anything looks immediately out of place. Honestly it's pretty hard to blow up an engine at idle and low RPM with a tune if you have it built right mechanically. You might foul the plugs or dilute the oil a little if you're running SUPER rich, but that's pretty unlikely.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
