As part of my build, I'm planning on running meth/water injection to the Sprintex supercharger. This company seems fairly reputable.

Has anyone had any dealings with their products? I'm looking at http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/universal/305-dvc-30-stage-2a.html

My charger will be pushing 7-10psi. I wanted to see if there's any reason why this kit wouldn't work. This is my first time boosting anything or working with injection.

Also, I'm told they are having a black friday sale of 20% off, which is partly what spurred me to post the question here.

Thank you

Hi,

They have had a few issues with that DVC-30 controller.

The main issue being that the controller randomly earths out the pump and pumps all of the contents into the manifold (do a google search for Devils own controller fault) not good if it does this overnight and you go start the car with a manifold filled with water/meth mix.

I fitted a new Devils own system and had this same issue, the controller was replaced and the new unit although it didn't randomly empty the tank, the variable control doesn't work so as soon as it sees 1 psi of boost, the pump comes on a full speed so the settings for controlling when to start spraying and when to hit full are useless.

I have now thrown the controller in a box and bought a new AEM controller instead which has been fine.

They may have sorted the issues and be reliable now but my experience has not been a good one.

Hope this helps,

Edward.

Thanks for the reply. I've seen people post about that type of failure with AEM too on Amazon review. I hadn't seen the posts for the DVC-30 failure yet though. I think I'm going to go ahead and get it but I will take some extra steps to prevent such a failure from causing any major damage. I've even seen some complaints of Snow's controllers failing as well.
