So i have a evo 10 and an Evo 10. i have used your classes to learn the basics of tuning. And i have even made some adjustment to my cars. I am dealing with an issue that looks an awful lot like a boost pipe coming off mid to full boost. I experience that brick wall feeling or it could be described as a lug. Like the car is still requesting power that i am not asking for. this is happening during low boost. 0-10 psi at about ~2500-~3800 rpm. probably about 30-50% throttle. I will be driving along in this range and decide that i don't need to go any faster and let off of the throttle a bit. not all the way. Just a partial lift. On my evo 9, i do this and everything is smooth. So when comparing, this doesn't seem normal. But i have tried to research that and recently found some info that this it just the evo 10 quirk because of the E-throttle. Basically i am asking for a certain amount of torque, the computer decides what is most efficient based on what i am asking for. But the draw back is that the throttle table is adjusted to be a bit punchier and doesn't follow the tps table exactly. So this function is the quirk. my question to you is this normal? can this be tuned out? I am working with a 56890109 rom. I purchased a 56890013 tephra a couple weeks ago from evoscan but they haven't delivered yet.
