Hi Folks;

Has anyone had the challenge of tuning fresh Air anti lag on a rally car or any car that has this system fitted?

I'm in the process of preparing to tuning the system into a Subaru Impreza (STi EJ207 motor), engine has aftermarket exhaust / extractors, DBW throttle body. Using a Mac 4 way solenoid for the activation controller, Link G4+ ECU.

Regards

Stephen

I did a Starlet with FAL, it was an easy enough strategy to make up.

The significant difference over throttle-jacked AL is the engine doesn't need to have a raised idle unless you want to use a cyclic idle, generating boost from a standstill (zero load on the engine) is harder and your EGTs will be lower on fresh air AL

Hi Chris;

Thanks for the feedback, this will be my first time trying this, but found it easy enough so far, just need to fire the motor and play with the setup.

Cheers

Stephen

Have you got a photo of the manifold? I was thinking of doing fresh air anti lag on an ej20 in the future. Just interested to see how it was done as the runners are a lot longer than a traditional four cylinder.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
