Hi all,

Just going through my tune on my Link G4+ Xtreme, just looking at the IAT tables, seems that the basemap I have been given is adjusting the fueling for both throttle and intake temp - this means I am getting a fuel enrichment at 20C at higher throttle than lower throttle.

How would it be best to set this table up - I understand I need some fuel correction due to the increase or decrease fuel due to the different air densities but not sure how best to adjust - can anyone point me towards a good base table to use?

Thanks in advance!

Hi David,

The idea behind having the compensation based off TPS and air temp is because of the influence heat soak has on the air temp sensor at 0/light throttle.

Standards talk as air temp at 20c, so generally at this zone you will set to 0, then every 10 degrees you require approx 2.5% trim to keep your ideal AFR. It is also common to reduce this percentage at 0/light throttle to reduce the effect this has after heat soak conditions.

This is covered really well in the Understanding AFR course and even has an example Air temp sensor trim tables.
