I need help with my ecumaster black.

After I watch the videos I don’t find exactly how to adjust the spark cut table on LC.

Because how I understand is I need to adjust the spark cut table to stop the rpm going to the hard cut

Thanks for the good videos I learned a lot and want to purchase more in future

Ricardo,

This ECU isn't one I have much experience with, but it appears if you select interpolate spark cut, the cut will start at the spark cut percentage you set, and then interpolate between that cut percentage and 100% cut as RPM increases from the Activation RPM to the cutoff RPM.

For example if you start cut at 20% at 3000 RPM, and cut off RPM is 4000 RPM, I'd expect:

20% cut at 3000

3500 RPM is half way between the engine speed values so I'd expect spark cut percentage to be half way between 20% and 100%, at 60%

3750 RPM 80% cut

4000 RPM 100% cut

To give the system a chance to slow engine speed before it hits the hard limit, I suggest leaving a decent size RPM window. For example if you start cut at 20% and activation RPM is only 200 RPM under cut off RPM, the acceleration rate of the engine will likely cause it to blow through the control range and right into the "hard" 100% cut limit.

I suggest starting with a big range like 1000 RPM, cut starting at a low value, and then if you want to tighten things up to make it more consistent, you can shrink the control range and start with a bit more cut as needed.

I hope that helps clarify things a bit. Also keep in mind what you do with ignition timing will impact engine torque, so as you vary timing, or as boost varies, you will find the amount of cut needed to maintain a given RPM will vary. For this reason, you may want to reduce the number of variables by applying a fixed ignition retard, without interpolation, while allowing the cut to interpolate, get that dialed in before possibly making things more dynamic.
