I am currently doing a project, Link G4+ Storm ECU run parallel with the Stock ECU. The reason to keep the stock ECU is because of the Auto Trans.
Here is my Idea, share all of the sensors with the stock ECU.
Run the Injector, Ignition and the VVTI control off the Link ECU.
The part I am not sure is that some sensors are ground from the Stock ECU, Can i just splice in the signal wire and the Link ECU will receive the signal or I actually need to splice in the Regulated voltage out put into the Stock wiring?
For Crank and Cam sensor, can i disconnect them totally from the stock ECU? Will the Auto trans still work ?
