im running a ms1 megasquirt on a vr v8 holden having trouble with it had to send it back to the company not long ago it went haywire and leaned my fuel mixture out and i had no control over it so got it back few weeks ago just went to start car up cant get any spark from it so i am running factory ecu to control timing got it to idle between 12,7 to 13.8 afr engine has got stage 4 cam so not to bad but then fuel map trying to lean its self again put mouse over fuel map its saying target afr 26.2 i dont know where thats coming from i have some pics here of my set up if any one can see anything that i cant please comment i have just about going to throw this ecu out the window :)

Megasquirt 1 is not good at dealing with electrical noise. That could be part of your problem. You live in NZ, you should switch to something that's common over there, like Haltech. Otherwise, GM V8's typically run systems from Holley or FAST. I would just ditch the thing. Nobody uses Megasquirt 1 anymore. Using an unsupported/barely supported ECU is in general a bad idea.
