Hi

When tuning a NA engine is there a good reason for choosing a MAP sensor with lower or higher Bar limit?

Will a low bar MAP sensor have a better resolution?

In theory, a 1 bar sensor would have better resolution than a 2 bar. It is unlikely you would see a difference in a log or using any sort of dyno.

So than it makes sense to just go for a MAP that can support some pressure, in case of upgrades later down the line.

I have found it easier to find a 3 or 4 bar sensor compared to 1bar online anyways.

is there any other tips for choosing MAP sensor?

I was thinking 1 Bar compared to 2 Bar. Going to 3 or 4 may be a resolution issue. Is your tuning software capable of dealing with a 3 or 4 Bar.
