Hello, I am working on a Honda NSF250R with a custom harness, Using a Maxx ECU Mini.

I'm able to get the bike to run, however, I have an error code 35 - Trigger signal too early. Looking at the trigger logger, my theory is the compression stroke is causing issues with the trigger. Attached is a screenshot of my trigger log, and trigger settings.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

Maxx's automatic tracking of arming voltage doesn't like adapting to high compression/'struggling' starter setups such as bikes at times. Use the scope function to see what you have to work with RE arming threshold and start with 1/3 or something of peak at crank. There are also some options to play with under 'advanced trigger options' in the Trigger/Home inputs tab to account for low speed/cranking issues.

I'd be willing to bet one or the other of these can be used to fix the problem - it really depends on how much arming threshold you have to play with and how well the MAP sync is behaving in your application.

Thanks David. We will look into that

No worries, I also spoke to a friend who's a bit more familiar with rigging these using MAP for sync - his first suggestion is to double confirm that your MAP dip settings are accurate. He didn't think that auto tracking is going to be causing the issue but its where tend to start - YMMV.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
