Methanol diesel mix

As I'm searchng the internet about diesel tunning i come across methanol diesel mix now my question is what do i need to change to run methanol mix in an diesel engine as I'm not to sure but i was told that methanol does damage some fuel pumps and fuel lines on gasoline engines

I imagine you would need a specialised pump as the methanol wouldn't lubricate like diesel. You also need a lot more pump/injector capacity. I think that would be a pretty hard road. I'd be looking at throttle switched auxiliary meth injection or an LPG/natural gas booster rather than mixed fuel.
