Hello

please i wanna ask any one try to start Nissan maxima 2002 with motec ?

the car as i search it have only crank sensor I didn’t find cam sensor on it

so how to setup the trigger?

and what is the right firing order

the ecu is motec m84

Do you have the factory workshop manual? You will find the necessary information about firing order, wiring diagrams and pinouts for various sensors.

Hello david

i try to find it in google but nothing

no information online

i find the cam sensor on the side of the engine and i share it with motec it sync now have spark

but the fireorder i put 123456 as google say but its look like wrong

Its not started at all the way

i put the ign and inj fireorder as 1-2-3-4-5-6

its spark on plug and fuel pulse came but not start

i think the fire order is wrong

The VQ30 firing order is definitely 123456. What ref/sync mode are you using? Im not even sure if the M84 supports the VQ30 pattern. It has 4+1 for the ref and a weird 21 tooth pattern for the sync.

You would be better off with a "standard" trigger pattern. I am going 60-2 with a single cam wheel trigger on my VQ30 with Motec 130.
