Have a setup already running 2.5bar boost, but need more power for topend run.

Port Nitrous wet system has already been fitted, but have a few things to sort out.

I do not need to to reduce turbo lag, I simply need it to increase power in 5th and 6th gear on topend runs, at 2.5bar boost.

Engine and drivetrain are capable of holding the power.

Running static fuel pressure of 4 bar, rising with boost, wonder how that would affect the fuel flow?

Also running on E95.

Any comments or suggestions?

Have an NX progressive controller fitted

Thanks

It sounds like you have a pretty sensible plan there to incorporate nitrous. One thing I will mention is that if your turbine side is becoming a choke point for the engine, then adding nitrous may not provide the results you're expecting. Basically if the turbine side can't flow the additional exhaust flow then you won't actually see the sort of gain that the nitrous kit may suggest. If I'm sizing a turbo to run with a nitrous system I'll normally go a little looser on the turbine side. This really depends what your exhaust back pressure is at right now, or in other words if you're at the limit of the turbo flow.

Hi

I am in any case of the opinion that something is choking the power currently, as it barely made a power difference going from 2 to 2.5bar. The turbo compressor map is now however supposed to be at its peak efficiency.

Will keep that in mind and could be an definitive answer to my hunch if the nitrous doesn’t add enough power.

On the fuel pressure side, its rising like that would be fine to keep differential pressure the same on the fuel, even though the nitrous are static pressure?

Thanks
