I purchased haltech CAN wideband-single channel to be installed on my platinum pro plug in NISSAN PATROL Y61.

I followed the instructions as per the quick start guide. I finished from the installation and free air calibration successfully. But when I went to do the software setup, the ECU can't detect the CAN device. Even when I tried to manually add the CAN device from the setup, it can't detect the CAN device.

I doubled checked the harness and the power supply, but they were fitted and powered as instructed.

I am wondering if I can get a solution for my problem

Thanks

try checking the "legacy devices tab"

Are you using the black cable to connect the wideband to the ECU? The black cable effectively adds a terminating resistor at each end and should be used if you only have one CAN device connected. If you're using a white cable then this may be your issue.

Thanks for your reply.

Finally I figured out the solution. I had to upgrade the firewall to connect the wideband CAN.

It is working perfect now
