Hi Andre

I had Honda civic with b16a cylinder head and b20b bottom with Haltech PS1000 plug and play harness my question is how can I setup

trigger angle and tooth offset to get this engine running I just already try 76 on trigger angle and 6 on tooth offset but not work.

just want some direction to get this done.

Thank you

have you tried connecting time light while cranking and shutting injectors off ? you can see where it's firing..usually you get the tooth offset close and then adjust the trigger angle

have you tried haltech forum ? i haven't installed haltech on that engine

there is 3 marks on the crank wheel you will need to lock your timing at 16 degree and match it to the crankshaft wheel..or 0 degree and match it with the tdc mark on the wheel..its separate mark after the 14-16-18 degree mark.

Thank you samtronic I did .

Apologies, it looks like I missed your question. How did you get on with setting the timing? Are you all up and running?

Yes what I did I call Claudio from haltech usa he told me what need I do locked timing on 16 degree timing marck take this spark plug out disable the injector and cranking this engine until I get the 16 mark close to the middle with tooth off end fine tuned with trigger angle . I did just like that bit when I start the engine I couldn't get the engine runing I call he back he told me that I need to change my reluctor type to raising and may trigger threshold, noise filter to 1 and now ties engine is runing.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
