I have Rev Limit Enrichment as an option in my Maxx ECU to add % fuel at the rev limit - is this intended purely for additional cooling?
What could/should this be used for?
It's not a feature I typically use but it is included in some ECUs. The usefulness will depend on the type of limiter you are using - Fuel/ignition. If you're using an ignition cut for example you are passing unburnt fuel/air through the engine constantly so cooling isn't usually an issue.
I will be using ignition cut so I'll ignore it for now.
