SCT software

Hi, I know this has been brought up before but some 4 to 5 yrs ago. I have an 2002 Ford Explorer 4.6 modular v8 which I'm building and will spool a S400sx-e turbo. SCT seems to be the only software that's capable with my car so I'm after input on there products as I believe they have some new stuff available ie:Advantage III Pro Racer Package + the X4 Device. Andre mentioned in the past there full tune software was only sold to business shops etc is this still current or has it changed? If I can flash my ecu which means easier tuning for me as the base is all done and if it will work out cheaper than a standalone which it should then that's the way id like to go. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks.

I haven't dealt with SCT for about 6 years now. At the time it was commercial only but I'm not sure what they've done since then. What I dealt with wouldn't have been cost effective if you weren't a shop as the cost for the software was something like $3-4k. A quick google seems to show that the pro racer package is an individual end user tuning solution though. I'd personally suggest you email SCT and make sure it's suited to your aims.
