Hi all,
I have a well running set-up configured with an AEM EMS2 on my Mitsubishi 3000GT Gen.2.
The car has some modificatons, e.g. Coil-on-Plug, slightly bigger turbos, SMICs and intake and exhaust optimisations.
My specifiy issue:
At (german) autobahn cruising speed around 120km/h (75mph), taht is ~2000rpm and ~108kpa (~15psi abs. pressure), I have to dial fuel much richer than in the surrounding cells. The car would run well in steady-state with a lower fuel value, but then it will stutter if I increase throttle slightly from lower speed.
I already played with the accel settings, but that did not help much because the AEM can not set up to increase accel fuel precisely and only under these conditions.
I am wondering if it would help if I modify the ignition table in this area? Currently it is set to 21°.
I would appreciate any hints, thank you!
Best regards from Germany,
Stefan
PS: The car consumes a lot of fuel at a speed "normal" for Germny, that is my concern.
