I have a subaru GC8 with a EJ205 block and heads, non-AVCS running on a Haltech 2500 Elite ECU with the latest NSP software update. Our crank is 36-2-2 and our cam is 2 teeth 90 degrees apart. Both crank and cam using reluctor type sensors. We were been told by Haltech that the Home % of valid travel should sit between 40 to 60% but we are only getting 2%. If I swap the polarity on the crank sensor the Home % of valid travel goes to 50% but the single is very noisy and can be seen on the Tachometer. We are not getting any trigger errors but would like to know how can the Home % of valid travel can be better centred to the 50% value.
