Iv got a vk45de with A microsquirt ecu I'm just learning how to tune but ever time I burn a change in tunerstudio it stalls the engine is this normal?
I haven't used it, but it's not uncommon for some "burning" procedures to require the program to be stopped while changing the stored information on the chip.
It may require the ignition to be turned on, but that means exactly that - it doesn't mean the engine should be running.
Yes, you typically need to stop the engine while uploading / flashing / burning a new configuration.
