Hey Guys,

so today was the day I wanted to start my rebuilt Sr20det for the first time. I have built a wiring harness myself and am running a Ecumaster EMU Black Ecu. After troubleshooting some wiring issues everything seemed alright to try and start up the engine.

I´ve previously mapped out ignition timing and fuel tables according to a basemap I was given by a friend.

I´m having troubles setting base timing unfortunately and haven´t been getting anywhere yet. I´ve built my own CAS upgrade using a ZF hall effect sensor and a 24-2 triggerwheel. I´ve set the engine to TDC and afterwards inserted the CAS so that the first tooth after the -2 gap is about 40 Degrees BTDC as requested by the EMU manual:

Afterwards I locked ignition timing and set an angle of 40 Degrees.

Now I checked the signal again using the scope, but I seem to get varying timing and the ecu reads ignition timing of between 22-40 degrees BTDC.

What might be the issue of the varying timing and am I missing ssomething when setting the base timing?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers.
