Hi,

I’m currently setting up the rear wheel speed sensor of my BRZ using the ECUMaster Wheel Speed to CAN module (the front wheel sensors are not connected). The sensor is a 2-pin type, and when I measure the resistance, it reads 15 kΩ in one direction and no value in the other direction.

Does this mean it’s a Hall effect sensor?

Below is the ECUMaster configuration interface — could anyone please advise how I should set it up?

Hi, thanks for the reply. There is a positive and negative input on the speed sensor module. I believe I should connect the signal output from sensor to positive pin on the module, but what should I connect the negative pin to? Ground?

And I can choose for a pull down resistor in ecumaster's software settings, does it mean I don't have to physically connect a resistor between signal output pin and ground?

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
