What monitor combination gauges should I set on My Cobb AccessPort in order to see if bad fuel is the cause of Knocking ? reaching -9 sometimes on acceleration. ( Subaru WRX 2015 )
I think the only way to tell if bad fuel is the cause of knock, is to remove the suspect fuel, and replace with known good high-octane fuel and observe the knock levels, or knock counts under similar conditions.
Already done that , Actually knocking only happens after driving first half an hour , excessive heat under the hood develop ( although oil temp never exceeds 205, coolant 200 , CVT Oil 180)
At that point, when any throttle done on a hilly road flags a -9 knock, but none on a flat road. !!!!
by the way it is a CVT, with a cooler installed.
