Hello All,

I'm Tim, and I've been a technician with GM for a little over 10 years. I just got into racing last summer and I've forever wanted to learn how to tune vehicles and build racecars so I'm finally doing it!

I currently have a 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo SS Stock Car for Dirt Oval racing, powered by a very basic Carbureted 350 Small Block bored .030 to 355 hooked up to a Saginaw 3-Speed manual transmission and a Ford 9-Inch rear end.

I also just bought my neighbor's neglected 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula with the LT1 5.7 liter- the often overlooked step-child of the Chevy Small Block family- and this car is gonna be my fun toy and testbed / practice car for learning how to tune.

Obviously I'm a GM guy, and I can talk about cars for hours on end- So I'm excited to join this community and learn what they have to offer!!

I can share some pics of my cars if anyone is interested!

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
