Hej! I'm a 43 year young Dutch guy that moved to Sweden a few years ago, partially to pursue the dream of building cars for a living.

Currently my experience lies mostly in fabrication, but I just bought my first proper aftermarket ECU (i'm in Sweden, so it had to be a MaxxECU to not get thrown out of the country) and i'd like to learn the basics of tuning it, just to be able to make my current project driveable. They actual tuning i'll leave to the specialists for now :-)

The project that will receive the MaxxECU is this old Swedish mailtruck from the 60's that I used the glassfiber body from to put on a tubeframe chassis. It's now a (front)mid-engine setup based on a mildly tuned Volvo T5 engine that should push around 300 hp.

That's awesome. The exhaust poking out of the back window is hilarious.

Really like MaxxECU. Good piece of kit.

Which version of the T5 are you running? I'm using a 5254T7.

Haha, the exhaust was just a mockup. Turned out it wasn't very practical having it in the middle of the rear hatch, so i moved it down. But it's gonna change again soon, so maybe i'll let it poke out the sides or something more fun.

The T5 is a gen2, B234t3 from an '03 S60 T5. Not the most ideal engine to get power from, but it was a good package deal with a complete car and since i'm using two front cuts of S60's as base for this build it was worth the compromise. In the future i'll be upgrading to a gen 3.
