My name is Brian. I have 30 years of Autocad experience in the petrochemical industry. In 2019 I started a side business for fun that has grown into designing my own SXS parts. Trying to learn Fusion has been tough since it's such a different animal than Autocad. But, if I can learn Fusion then I can quickly convert all the ideas in my head into manufactured products. I don't actually manufacture the parts so I need good cad models to send to CNC shops to make my parts. Designing parts to make the machines better is the fun part. I enjoy figuring out the part design, then tweaking it for easier manufacturing. I signed up for this class because it's the most specific to my industry that I have found. Really hoping to learn a LOT here.
