hey guys i have a 1967 chevy camaro it was a mono leaf leaf spring i put new multi leaf spring and new shocks and it still wheel hops it actually broke the rear end i need some ideas to get it to stop wheel hopping any help well be greatly appreciated

Easiest and cheapest (and easiest to make) would be a snubber, or anti-tramp, bar, or bars. there are slightly different designs, but basically they're bolted to the axle and the forward end has a rubber snubber that is adjusted to be under the front eye of the spring(s). Under drive torque they prevent the spring wind-up and release that causes the tramp.

Some will run just one on the right side, others will run both sides either with equal clearance to the eye, or offset with the right contacting first to control the chassis torque reaction.

You should still be able to find kits, new or s/hand, or if you check them out on-line, be able to fabricate something to meet your needs. Also there should be better advice in setting them up.

They can affect ride quality, and if adjusted too low, there is a small chance reverse wind-up under braking, or hard reversing, can cause them to hit the road.

Back in the Chrysler (?) also used a chassis mounted rubber snubber that served a similar purpose, as the axle wound up the nose of the diff' would contact the snubber and stop it winding up further.

awesome ill look into it i appreciate it
