Gday all,

I've got an N15 Nissan Pulsar, which has been blessed with a torsion beam rear suspension.

Rather than the standard Panhard bar or Watts link approaches, Nissan used a Scott-Russell linkage to control the lateral movement of the beam throughout the suspension travel. A picture of this arrangement can be seen here https://motoiq.com/how-to-make-crappy-cars-handle-well/3/

While I have been able to find several threads like the one I just linked explaining what the linkage is, a vague pros/cons and how to replace it, I have not found anyone with an explanation on how to calculate the roll centre heights for this type of suspension.

If anyone has any knowledge of this topic or better yet some resources on how it works I would really appreciate your input

Cheers
