Hi, very happy to write again here in the forum, but not very happy with a issue with a 2006 evo ix, the car wont start, i have spark, fuel pump turns on when cranking, but i dont have inyector pulse, when i use evoscan i see that i have rpm,but not in the cluster only on the evoscan software, when i see on the log, crankshaft sensor output signal on/off i got no signal, if the crankshaft sensor is bad will it still have spark? i am very confused, the cam sensor was swapped with another car.. no luck either, any tips? help? thanks in advance. ;)
Normally if you are getting spark I would expect that the ECU is receiving both crank and cam signal inputs. Usually if the ECU is only getting one input it won't reach synchronisation and hence won't generate spark or injection events.
I would start by asking what has changed or what has been done since the last time the car ran correctly?
