Hi guys,

I found a guy on YouTube claiming that fuel trims up to 20% is acceptable and actually stated that one of his references is High performance Academy!

I never came across such thing in any of the videos.

What would be an acceptable % and what not?

Also do you combine both short and long term?

Thanks George

Hi George, I used to limit the trim up to 20%, when the engine ask you more than that you should tune up your air/fuel target. The short trim works quickly to adapt the change of load, when you arrive that load that amount of short goes to long term trim. when you reach that 20% in long term you may also check duty cycle and flow of injectors, if they are capable of giving you that +++++ amount of fuel.

Regards!

Nahuel
