Hi, so I've got a wee overpowered little Fraser ("7" style machine). C30-94 Rotrex supercharged K20A, with only 670kg of car to push around is a recipe for good times, and loss of traction. Dyno'd 330hp at the wheels with a very linear torque curve, so very driveable - and a monster!. Was great when living around areas with lots of hot mix road, but moved to the country which has lots of asphalt and colder road temps, so despite almost the stickiest tyres, new, (AR1s) she's a handful particularly on cold roads. You have to be ultra careful or brown pants moments can be had.

We had/have a Racelogic system in, which had been an "unfinished" project to get running. In the midst of working on getting it running and discovered the world of traction control seems to have moved on markedly since the Racelogic TCS.

Given the car already has a Link G4+ in it, the logical step is to look at a G4X and also tidy up the loom/go PDM etc.

In researching I can find very little actual first-hand experience with the G4X traction control, really looking for videos and any comparisons out there with other systems. If I'm to dump the existing setup it's really *only* to get TCS, so after some unbiased thoughts (if I can get them)/feedback on those the system actually compares to others on the market.

On paper I should be able to get a better setup than the RL system with the G4X, using actual torque management, and perhaps diminishing slip at speed/lateral acceleration numbers, to get the "playful" low speed, but keep it in check high speed....

Motive video had an amazing before/after with the Motec system that transformed the car they were demonstrating it on. Wondering if the G4X is comparable (or even better?). LifeRacing/Syvecs would be overkill and I don't really want to remap the car (don't think any tuners are close by to Nelson NZ for those anyway)

Pointing towards any videos would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks,

Rowan
