Is it safe to use stainless steel filler rod when welding mild steel? I have done it before and it looks great but does it make the weld weak? thanks
i know that if you use stainless filler it is much softer compered with mild steel filler. try tack welding two parts with diferent rods, and bend them until they brake, you can see difference
