Have a few questions on it

Integration with their ECM / Reliability / level of support from manufacturer

The Syvecs PDUx series are made by Life Racing. With the latest beta firmware they are some of the most powerful power distribution units on the market. Note that they are not the cheapest, but do offer a number of advantages.

- 3 CAN buses with ability to use the unit as a CAN bridge

- ethernet connectivity with integrated switch so another ethernet product can be added on the same ethernet connection. No need to purchase a proprietary USB to CAN adapter to program the PDU.

- 12 or 16 inputs (model dependant) can be used for a variety of speed, temperature, digital and analogue voltage inputs which can then be fed over to CAN back to your logger or ECU. Reduced the bulk of the wiring loom running down the car.

- half bridge outputs and supports PWM

- soft start for devices like radiator fans

- great integration with Syvecs and Life Racing engine management systems but should work with other ECUs with the flexibility of the CAN-bus.

- third generation product and tested in motorsport up to an including Le Mans

- more high current outputs which is a common complaint about competitors products

Your first level of support should come from the dealer you purchase the product from.

We usually reply within 12hrs (often sooner)
